Misuzu and Yukito bolster through Kano’s past. They then find the magic feather and learn why Kano tried to kill Yukito. After the flashback Kano is cured and the magic feather disappears.
Since this is based off a dating sim game, it’s safe to assume that this was the end of Kano’s storyline/path in the game. They have a lot more to go for just nine episodes left.

They’ve slowed down on the character introductions. Kano manifests some weird kind of vision around Yukito and Misuzu, she ends up being fine. Potato gets lost, then found. Then Kano goes a bit on the crazy and tries to strangle Yukito. Damn this is a fine show.
So far aside from all the girls being introduced there isn’t a lot of romance, but mystery there is tons of and I’m quite hooked.
First, a little background on School Rumble. High school comedy, a little like Azumanga Daioh, but actually has boys in it as actual characters. Plot, very little. Aside from certain characters being in love with others. Karasuma (not pictured today) is oblivious, Tenma (think hair antennae) loves Karasuma, and Harima (delinquent with the goatee) loves Tenma. That’s your plot and their failed confessions of love. It’s mostly slapstick comedy, but some of the best I’ve seen.

The swimsuit episode!!!! All sorts of funny in this episode. The new guy that we met last episode, Nara, is falling for Tenma. Harima is not happy and during her swimming lesson finds all sorts of clever ways to get in the way of Nara and Tenma. Eri (the blonde) and Harima have a minor (naked Harima) misunderstanding. And Mikoto and the other blonde guy get lost in some cave together. He then remarks how much he likes her boobies. I can always count on this show for laughs, yes I can!

Air is another series based on a dating sim game. The designer is the same that did Kanon, and while I really disliked the designs for Kanon, I’m very pleased with Air. For some reason they seem fresher. The animation is great, while the story so far is in character intro mode, but it’s got its share of quirky fun girls. We have our bishounen hero with great hair, along with the cute dog thing that doesn’t look like a dog, nor really sound like one. It’s good, and I’m sure will be nice sappy romantic fare.
Our spiky headed hero, Yukito, meets Kamio Misuzu, the blonde above while sleeping off some hunger. Then meets her mom, Haruko (voiced by Aya Hisakawa, yay!), and Potato, and Tohno, and Kano. I expect there will be about seven more characters added, which is usual, but it’s off to a good start
