Emma Episode 7

Episode 7: The Crystal Palace

Emma and William go on a date. They go to visit The Crystal Palace. Emma has never been to anything like that before so she’s in awe of the whole thing. William shows her around and they somehow managed to get locked in for the night. Since William never makes it home Hakim and his harem girls, a-hem, preoccupy the butler Stevens so William’s father doesn’t catch wind of what’s really going on. When the very fact is that William and Emma are doing a little bit of lip-locking in the deserted Palace. Emma has a good time, and William is happy. Mrs. Stowner is not feeling very well, though.

Love the harem girls, always entertaining.

Emma Episode 6

Episode 6: The Visit

William and his father drop by Mrs. Stoner’s place for a visit. William’s father is a little curious as to why he’s spending so much time at Mrs. Stoner’s house. They drop in and he meets Emma. William hasn’t told his father that he’s pining for the pretty maid, but dad gets the jist. In, what I thought, was a chilling and heartless little speech, he proceeds to tell the room how London is divided into two countries, alluding that the difference in class lines (between the landowners and the others) is impassible. This pisses William off quite a bit, considering he’s in love with a maid that is from another “country”.

The old man is pretty heartless and really into making his family higher in the status ranks.

Emma Episode 5

Episode 5: Dinner Party

Mrs. Stowner realizes at the last minute that she has a dinner party to prepare for. Emma cooks and the guests don’t show up. She then shares the meal with Emma, and her friend Al, who came over to fix some wallpaper issues they had. In the end it looked like a more interesting dinner party than if the guests actually showed up.
