I somehow jokingly made a prediction on Twitter and it actually turns out that way. I’m disappointed/amazed/rolling on the floor laughing at this ending. Finally a Kyon variation gets some balls and finds out something in that sequence where he looks like he’s getting a Death Note heart attack. Open for interpretations. I call it “Haruhi’s tsundere love + spending more time with Kyon” wish. See that blush? Although DK_Eternity’s take on this with the “I think it’s more like she wanted everyone to end their summer without regrets, or something like that,” approach works too. Your opinions?
